and I tell her
that I know

I found it
the hard way

they took down my
posts for
profane language

I thought
they were just words
on a digital paper

I never cursed nobody
The words were never
addressed to anyone
or anything

They were only the
words of
characters in my writings

It’s fiction
isn’t it?

Are you okay living in
a world
where literary fiction is
banned because
it uses bad language?

  2. The world has become too prude and “woke”. You should be able to say what you want. We could in the seventies and 80ties and now 40/50 years later we can’t? Yeah right. Fuck it! 😁

Problem is, is that so many people who fancy themselves writers are not; they resort to vulgarity, profanity, etc simply out of inability to write creatively, for shock value, and, alas, some for thinking that makes them “cool.” Easy to see for the number of times profanity is used in ways not natural, that is, not the way real people speak. Been military, been police, been a pimple-faced teen. I know correct and natural profanity. When I read it used unnaturally, I recoil. Unfortunately, yutes love this kind of writing. It validates their manifold misconceptions. Until there is a shortage of electrons and publication of junk writing is banned to conserve, we must put up with this new wave.
