also pay attention to spelling and grammar so you don’t embarrass yourself

every small hesitation
takes
a bite
from your confidence,
from your soul

until you find
yourself
breathing in ashes
of suicide notes

Breathe deep

and start
writing
the next
one

but
keep the
lighter close

  1. This is so damn good. The ashes of suicide notes – I’ve been listening to Jordan Peterson and this feels a little like “say what you mean or you kill your unborn self” or maybe it’s because I have been thinking along those lines myself of late – regardless, this is what it feels like to me and I love it.

  2. “Keep the lighter close” you ended a great poem, I see people say something about the title, I´m then long lost with no way to reverse since I actually don´t edit anything that comes to mind when I write in this platform (hence the name of the blog crazy life), but to the point, “keep the lighter close” I thought that was a great ending.
